How to clean and store your sterling silver jewelry

Please wear your jewelry often and enjoy every moment wearing it.

When not wearing it store your jewelry in the jewelry bag and box it comes with. Sterling silver jewelry is not likely to tarnish with regular use, but when tarnished use the silver polishing cloth which you will find in your box. This cloth is formulated specifically to remove tarnish and is effective in cleaning silver jewelry.

Other methods you can use are:

Use a liquid silver cleaner, put the piece of silver in a bowl or tray, swish it around, and the original silver shine is restored. If you don’t have silver cleaner or a polishing cloth at home u can use toothpaste.

Put some toothpaste on a soft toothbrush and gently rub the toothpaste into the silver. Let it sit for a few minutes and wash it off.

If you want  to clean a silver chain, put toothpaste on the chain and pull it through a wash cloth. You will see the cloth turn black that means  you are cleaning the piece.

Avoid getting cleaners with high acid contents on your sterling silver items, as they can cause discoloration.
